President Obama Signs the Hate Crimes Bill -- live stream available

Attached is a summary of the Hate Crimes Prevention Act, which was signed into law a few days ago. Under this statute, the Department of Justice is authorized to investigate and prosecute certain bias-motivated crimes against persons with disabilities (as well as other categories of persons).
