Free Asssitance Available From Disability Advocacy Support Hub (DASH)

March 9th, 2010

Friends -

The Disability Advocacy Support Hub (DASH) is a program started in April 2007 by the Disability Rights Network of PA (DRN) with funding from the PA Developmental Disabilities Council.  It is designed to support and help disability advocacy groups across Pennsylvania.  DASH provides free trainings and technical assistance to disability advocacy groups to help them build their groups and improve their advocacy.  We have helped groups with a variety of advocacy issues, strategic planning, board development, use of the media, lobbying rules, outreach, fund raising, networking and many other topics and activities.

We are asking your help to spread the word about DASH to current disability groups or to people who want to form groups.  The attached flyer has some samples of the type of technical assistance we can provide.  Please share this information with your staff and other groups.  Thank you for your support.
